We are looking on behalf of a well established company in Gibraltar for a Senior Associate (Restructuring – Insurance).
Responsibilities:
Insurance Management and Supervision
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (claims teams, FSCS, solicitors)
- Liaising with claims handling team and providing support on MI review
- Assist with review of claims payments and submissions to FSCS
- Ongoing monitoring of claims payments and performance in line with FSCS requirements
- Assist with preparation of claims bordereaux information and reconciliations
- Ensure claims management system is up to date, reconciling claims paid and rejections to system reports
- Assist with review of claims recoveries banked & collections outstanding
- Assist claims team with defense costs billing review, identifying cases in litigation
- Quota share and excess of loss reinsurance reporting and tracking
Financial Reporting
- Review of monthly key supplier payment runs
- Monthly KPI reporting, data analytics
- Cash Flow reporting, and variance analysis
- Financial Modelling & Forecasting estimated outcome statements
- Assisting with FSCS & regulatory reporting updates
Team Collaboration
- Provide supervision of/delegate work to offshore staff and assist juniors with queries
- Ensure deadlines met and case progression can be demonstrated across own portfolio
- Contribute to corporate governance requirements
- Adhere to the company`s systems, policy requirements and core values
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Insurance & claims handling knowledge preferrable
- Qualified ACA / ACCA or training towards achieving these qualifications
- Cert CII preferable
- Willingness to train on Insolvency Act and Rules relating to Administrations, Liquidations and voluntary arrangement processes.
