We are looking on behalf of our client, a well established company in Gibraltar, for a Logistics Administrator.
Duties:
- Arranging pre-delivery inspections on behalf of customers
- Generate and checking Spanish Customs declaration
- Checking bills of lading drafts and approving these documents
- Liaising with shipping lines and forwarders to ensure the delivery goes as planned
- Preparing all relevant documentation for customers
- Updating customers via email/telephone about the status of their order
- Liaising with consignees to ensure all relevant documentation is submitted to local agents for customs clearance and to ensure a smooth final delivery
- Complete reports for clients with regards to their shipments
- Prepare shipping costs quotations
- Arrange the delivery of spare parts orders to our customers
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent which must include: English, Spanish and Mathematics
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Office programs
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish both written & spoken.
- A & B driving licenses
- Ability to work in Spanish (oral and written)
- Ability to work in French (oral and written) – desirable but not essential
