We are looking on behalf of our client for a Director of Estate Management to oversee the management of three residential and commercial estates in Gibraltar.
Duties:
- Preparing and managing budgets for estate operations and projects
- Monitoring expenditures and reporting financial performance
- Overseeing service-charge budgets and sinking funds
- Ensuring compliance with planning laws, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Liaising with regulatory bodies and service providers
- Managing property and grounds across all estates
- Supervising the estate porter service
- Coordinating maintenance and cleaning teams
- Conducting regular assessments of estate facilities
- Planning and implementing seasonal and routine cleaning and repair schedules
- Addressing resident and tenant queries
- Negotiating with third-party suppliers and preparing service contracts
Required:
- Minimum five years’ experience in senior management
- Proven expertise in estate and property management
- Strong knowledge of property regulations, planning laws, health and safety standards, underleases, and estate legalities
- Excellent leadership, communication, and administrative skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Financial expertise in managing service-charge budgets, sinking funds, and cost control
Bachelor’s degree-level education and/or fluency in Spanish and/or other languages will be an advantage.
