We are looking on behalf of our client, a well established Private Bank in Gibraltar, for a Data Analyst. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to transform complex financial data into actionable insights as you will play an essential role in developing and implementing data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Collecting, cleaning, and analysing financial and operational data.
- Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualisations to support business objectives.
- Identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities within financial data.
- Providing actionable insights for forecasting, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
- Collaborating with various departments to understand data needs and optimise reporting.
- Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Automating data processes and improving efficiency through SQL, Python, or other tools.
Required:
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in data analysis, preferably within the financial sector.
- A degree in Finance, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field is desirable.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analytics is preferable.
- Expertise in data management, transformation, and ETL processes is desirable.
