We are looking on behalf of a well established company in Gibraltar for a Actuarial Analyst.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate / Master degree or equivalent in any of the following disciplines: Actuarial Science, Mathematics and / or Statistics
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Non-Life actuarial field
- Ideally a part-qualified actuary with willingness to pursue actuarial credentials
- Strong analytical skills, with good programming abilities or a desire to develop these skills
- Knowledge or interest in data science concepts and methodologies is highly valued
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously, managing time and resources effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly
- Attentive to detail while considering the broader business context.
- Resourceful and able to handle ambiguity, using initiative to find quick and suitable solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
