We are looking on behalf of one of our clients for a Senior Compliance & MLRO.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Responsibility for all mandatory reporting to the regulator, main requirements include SICR, Financial Crime Report, Annual MLRO Report and R109 Compliance reporting.
- Continuous review of all related laws and regulations to ensure the business is operating within the required scope and guidelines.
- The maintenance of the firm’s suite of compliance procedures so as to capture all regulatory requirements including the roll out and delivery of comprehensive ongoing training to all members of staff.
- Ensure the Board and senior management understand their regulatory risk and compliance obligations and have sufficient knowledge to make informed decisions regarding plans/actions to mitigate any risks.
- Maintain positive relationships with the GFSC and ensure regular communication.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years Compliance / AML experience.
- A good understanding of Trust/Company Management/Pensions/Funds/Wealth markets.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Commercially oriented.
- Strong problem solving, analytical and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Educated to degree level.
- Compliance qualification (ICA or alternative).
